Free Homework Help Available

You’ve got homework. We’ve got help – NOW 24/7. The Delaware County Library System now offers FREE help from real, live tutors via the Internet – either at the library or from home! The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Live Homework Help® is available for kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as introductory-level college classes and adult learners. This program connects students to a real live tutor. The service is free.

Students of all ages simply log on to the DCLS website and click on the Live Homework Help®  icon. You’ll be asked only for your library card number, grade level and the subject with which you need help. Within a few minutes or less, you are connected to an expert tutor. Students can receive help in math, science, social studies or English. Tutors are trained and screened for safety.

If you don’t have a library card, get one at the Haverford Township Free Library, 1601 Darby Road (corner of Darby and Mill Roads). A library card is free and can be obtained by any Delaware County resident over age 17. Parents can get a card for children under 17. You just need to bring proof of your residence (driver’s license, lease, check showing your address) when applying. Go to the library’s website for complete information.

If you’d like to learn more about the program, please call DCLS at 610-891-8622 or visit the web site at www.delcolibraries.org and click on the Live Homework Help® icon. Funding for this service is provided by Delaware County Council.
