Our Environment

Chatham Park strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students. All children want to be included and loved. We teach kindness here!

All children provided with a safe, nurturing environment with respect given to the whole child can thrive as a learner. That same environment is extended to teachers who also must be supported as a whole person to thrive in their ability to teach all children.

Chatham Park believes in the power of partnership among home, school, and community to enhance the learning experiences continuously for all the children that we serve.

Love to Learn

Be Brave, Not Perfect: Chatham Park Elementary School promotes an intellectual safe environment where mistakes are part of life’s journey. We will strive to be better tomorrow than we are today.

Practice Gratitude: Celebrate the small victories and appreciate the love and support that surrounds us everyday. Choose your attitude and make note of the positive things in your life. Take time to serve your community.

Strong Mind: Read and learn something new everyday. Find peace in the chaos.

Strong Body: Practice healthy habits that will allow you to enjoy a quality life with family and friends.

Mission

HASA’s Mission & Vision

HASA will help promote academic and social development of the children of Chatham Park through close cooperation and relationships between parents and guardians in the home and teachers and staff at school. HASA will act as a liaison among Chatham Park families, teachers, staff, administration, the School District of Haverford Township, and the community at large. HASA will work to strengthen the Chatham Park community by fostering relationships among children, parents, guardians, teachers and staff.
