Alphabet Arbor

Alphabet Arbor is a tree-planting program that selects, plants, and maintains a specimen tree on the Chatham Park campus each year. The trees are chosen in alphabetical order– we are up to “L” this year– and are planted in conjunction with a Chatham Park class who then “adopts” the tree and helps with its maintenance. A plaque is placed at the base of the tree, identifying it and noting the year it was planted. Committee members are needed to help with tree selection, planting, and maintenance including watering during the summer.
